Abortion Care Services for Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, Poconos, and Mountains of Pennsylvania

Southern Tier Women's Health Services, LLC offers one visit appointments within the week to people from Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, as well as Poconos, and the Mountains of Pennsylvania. Our office is located in Vestal, NY about one and a half hours from Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

Our address is 149 Vestal Parkway West, Vestal, NY 13851. If using GPS, our neighbor’s address 200 Front St. Vestal NY 13850. We share a parking lot and we are opposite. Our building is a brick and tan building with a large yellow flower mural and sign for Southern Tier Women’s Health Services. Do not confuse us with the anti-abortion office, Women’s Life Services in the 200 Front St. building.

We accept most private insurance; including NYS Medicaid. The PA Medical Card does not cover abortion. We do have some resources for financial assistance. Our cash fees are reasonable and some discounts may apply. We offer you respectful, prompt care.

Directions from Scranton/Wilkes-Barre to Vestal, NY

Follow Route 81 North to Binghamton. 

  • After you pass Exit 5 (DO NOT get off at "Front St." - a common mistake) there will be a fork on the road to Route 17 West (future 86).

  • Follow 17 West to Exit 67S Vestal, and then follow the sign that says Exit to 434. Take a left onto 434 West, also known as the Vestal Parkway.

  • Go two traffic lights and take a left at the Valvoline Oil Change and an immediate right onto Front St.

  • The first parking lot on your right is one we share with Southern Tier Physical Therapy.

  • Our building is in the middle of the lot and there is a mural of a yellow flower next to the door. Avoid “Women’s Life Services”. We have escorts in blue vests to guide you.
