Fees and Payment

Our basic fee for abortion services includes lab work, counseling, choice of sedation, medications, birth control information, and a follow-up exam. For patients 12 weeks or more, there will be an additional charge. The medical abortion (abortion pill) fee includes the cost of medications and follow up at this office. For those patients whose blood type is Rh negative and require Rhogam, there is an additional fee of $40. If you do not know your blood type, we can order a test in advance of your appointment. Please call for an estimate of the fee you can expect; our fee schedule is available on request.

We accept Excellus Blue Shield plans with pre-verification as well as NYS Medicaid and other NY managed care plans. Other insurance plans may cover as an out of network provider. A cash discount is available to women without insurance or with out of state Medicaid including the Pennsylvania Medical Card. Cash, money orders, and most credit cards are accepted as payment. Personal checks are not. Fees are expected to be paid in full at the time of the appointment.

Financial Assistance

We cooperate with the National Network of Abortion Funds and the National Abortion Federation Hotline Fund for those in need. Because we are in New York State our patients can get help from the NY Abortion Access Fund. Our STWHS Access Fund and other funding sources can also offer small amounts and transport help. Please consult with us if you are having financial difficulties. We accept donations to our STWHS Access Fund here.
